What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Newsletter Sign up
When you sign up for my newsletter your email will be sent to Mail Chimp where it will be securely stored on their site. www.adelepound.co.uk does not store this data. Mail Chimp services are GDPR compliant. you can read their privacy policy here; https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
Contact form
When you use the contact form to send me an enquiry, I will receive the information in an email. the data you submit is not stored on this website, but will be stored by the 123 reg web mail service. I will use your information to respond to your enquiry. I will not use you information to send you marketing materials unless you specifically request this or sign up for my newsletter. I will permanently delete your any data relating to your enquiry after 6 months.
Analytics
This site uses Google analytics with the Monster Insights WordPress plug in to collect and analyse user data. We use this information to track how people engage with the site in order to make improvements and a better user experience. this data is used to produce anonymised reports. You can see Google’s privacy policy here

Comments are not currently enabled on my blog posts. If I decide to enable comments, I will update this section accordingly

I use Mailchimp for my newsletter service and they, therefore, act as a data controller for the details of my contacts. 123 Reg hosting service
data is stored in their own EU-based data centres. These data centres are manned 24/7 to ensure security, from the physical controls stopping unauthorised access within the data centre to the system teams securing the network and platforms.
Email hosting, data is stored in their Leeds data centre. They use international web partners to filter emails for spam and viruses, but these partners do not store any email content. https://www.123-reg.co.uk/terms/privacy/
I will not, sell share or lease your information with any other third party unless you give me permission to do so or I am required to do so by law.
How long we retain your data
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email will be retained by Mail Chimp for this purpose. You can request that your details are removed from my contact list at anytime by unsubscribing. if you contact me using the contact form on the site, I will retain your data for the purpose of responding to your query. I will undertake to delete this information after 6 months, unless your enquiry is ongoing beyond this time.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. If you are a newsletter subscriber, you can unsubscribe at any time.

This website is secured by SSL encryption, and all software is regularly updated. My business email is accessed via a password protected app so that data is not accessible on any machine at my premises. Passwords will be changed regularly.
